Job Description
Job Title: Settlements Analyst
Department: Contracts & Settlements
Location: London
Working Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £60,000
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile positions and resolve trade breaks within agreed timelines.
- Process derivative transactions accurately, following internal procedures.
- Monitor and clear exceptions, ensuring completeness and accuracy of records.
- Provide regular reporting and management information to stakeholders.
- Validate fees and ensure accuracy of clearing, execution, and system charges.
- Maintain and review product reference data across systems.
- Identify and support improvements in controls, processes, and automation.
- Liaise with exchanges, clearing houses, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical role within Energy, Utilities or Commodities trading.
- Good understanding of Excel

- Proactive problem-solver with excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Clear communicator in both written and verbal, confident in engaging across levels.
- Motivated by refining operational processes and reducing risk.
- Fluent in English.
