About the Job:
This is a key role supporting the Finance Business Partner within a collaborative Finance & Resources team. You will lead the preparation and reconciliation of repair cost reporting, ensure strong budgetary controls, and provide reliable management accounting to aid strategic decision-making.
Duties will include:
- Producing and maintaining monthly repair cost reports, reconciling across systems
- Liaising with budget holders to monitor and manage spend against budgets
- Delivering timely and accurate management accounts and performance reports
- Supporting cost analysis for inter-company charges
- Ensuring financial controls are effective and reconciliations are completed promptly
- Assisting the Commercial Manager with financial insight as needed
- Supporting internal audits and offering cover across the wider finance team when necessary
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience in a finance environment and strong accounting systems knowledge. You’ll bring excellent numerical and IT abilities, with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in social housing and familiarity with housing management systems is advantageous but not essential.
