A leading force in the construction industry has a newly created role for a candidate with a strong training background, specifically in organising training courses within the civil engineering, bulk earthwork, or construction sector.
Benefits: 25 days + 8 days bank holidays, plus other benefits.
Job duties:
- Supporting the H&S manager to implement and organise training throughout the business.
- Booking training courses for 200+ construction employees, maintaining the training matrix, and aligning the training plan with annual budgets.
- Ensuring attendees and line managers are informed of course details, venues, and have the relevant training materials prior to the training.
- Maintaining a database of training providers, costs, and reporting on monthly spend.
- Managing all training levy returns and ensuring timely submissions.
- Providing professional liaison and support between the HSEQ team, operations, employees, and training providers.
- Supporting the Pre-construction Bid manager with bid and tender submissions.
Ideal candidates should have:
- 12 months to 2 years of experience in organising training courses within similar sectors such as civil engineering, construction, or remedial works.
- Knowledge of occupational H&S, Environmental, and Quality management systems (OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001, & 9001) is essential.
- Good report writing and IT skills are required.
