This is a part-time position for 25 hours/week. It offers an opportunity for a knowledgeable payroll professional to join an established and supportive payroll team, taking a hands-on approach to various client payrolls. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing client UK payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Incorporating payroll changes notified by cut-off dates.
- Calculating SSP, SMP, and other statutory payments where applicable.
- Providing management information and reports.
- Providing payslips for employees.
- Utilising BACS for salary payments and PAYE/NIC deductions.
- Advising clients on payments to employees and HM Revenue & Customs.
- Responding to payroll queries related to terminations, benefits, expenses, and pensions.
- Completing RTI submissions to HM Revenue & Customs.
- Communicating extensively with clients via phone and email.
- Performing ad hoc project work as required.
