About the Role:
As a key member of the finance team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and reconciling the sales and purchase ledgers
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Posting journals and assisting with month-end processes
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks
Role Requirements:
- Experience in a Finance or Bookkeeping role
- A solid understanding of core bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency with accounting software
- AAT Level 3/4, ICB, or IAB qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- A proactive and organised approach, with great communication skills
Bonus points if you have:
- IFS experience
- Experience posting journals and assisting with management accounts
