Join us as an Operations Technician at Air Liquide. We are seeking an experienced Operations Technician to join our UK Biogas Team on a permanent basis in the Fordoun area. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of field operation and maintenance duties across several assets, supporting both gas suppliers and customers while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply safety regulations to all responsible sites
  • Identify and report risky situations
  • Conduct root cause analysis of safety incidents
  • Participate in risk assessments and manage emergency procedures
  • Develop and review standard operating procedures and risk assessments
  • Maintain detailed intervention reports and update documentation
  • Perform routine checks and maintain equipment in optimal condition
  • Assist in procurement and inventory management

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
  • UK Driving License
  • Knowledge of gas types such as CNG and Biogas
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and gas analysis
  • Understanding of P&ID, PFD, electrical diagrams, and functional analysis
  • Experience in writing technical reports and procedures
  • Knowledge of safety and risk management
  • Right to work in the UK
