The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.
This role is responsible for managing the Engineering Stores, working Monday to Friday. Working with our management system, SAP, to place orders and manage stock levels and transactions is a core element of the role. Experience with using SAP will be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
You will have set performance targets to achieve, ensuring that consistent quality standards are met, and you will need to ensure that maintenance and cleaning tasks are carried out correctly, in line with the planned maintenance schedule. Full training will be provided for the role. The role will be for 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working pattern to be agreed. There may be the occasional requirement to perform holiday cover for members of the team.
- Deliver agreed service and cost key performance indicators
- Monitor daily stock movements and take appropriate action where key performance indicators are not met
- Utilise data to order efficiently to minimise costs but maximise availability
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel, with a focus on data accuracy and efficiency.
