As securities lending and borrowing product manager, you will ensure that Euroclear’s General Collateral Access (GCA) service remains a driven and profitable product meeting client needs. When necessary, you will lead and re-engineer the service to achieve this goal. You will think about new revenue opportunities taking into consideration the bigger picture of the securities financing markets.
You will conduct market research, supervise product development and design, set pricing, coordinate advertising campaigns, and monitor sales performance. For new product developments, you will qualify and quantify the case for the initiatives you are sponsoring, and you will also supervise and report the product P&L.
You will have opportunities to interact with different external partners, starting with clients and users of your product, but also other market infrastructures, service providers, regulators, and many others! You will play a pivotal role in the evolution of the securities lending and collateral management business domain, and you will have opportunities to interact with all relevant internal collaborators and experts and drive their actions:
- With Treasury Front- and Back Office for insight on borrower demand and opportunities including pricing aspects.
- With Relationship Managers and Product Solutions Specialists in Commercial for the external roll-out and visibility of the product.
- With Product Business Analysts and Application Domain Management teams for all project management and delivery aspects.
- With Operations teams for the accurate day-to-day handling of the product.
- With Legal for the evolution of the legal framework and documentation of your product.
- With Audit and Risk Management for the implementation of a proper control framework of the product.
You will have opportunities to gradually take on other files in the team, be it in Securities Lending or collateral management.
You have:
- The right product management skills, and the willingness to develop them.
- Formulating a case, analysing, and describing relevant market data and trends, making presentations etc excites you and does not scare you!
- A consistent track record either in collateral management, securities lending, or settlement will be considered an important asset.
- Excellent relationship and communication (written and oral) skills are required for this function.
- Knowledge or experience in the functioning of global financial markets is a requirement.
- You are looking for autonomy, do not need a very structured environment and you don’t mind being challenged on the views you express.
