IKEA Croydon are looking to welcome a Warehouse Manager, nights to join their store leadership team. In IKEA we call this a Fulfillment Operations Manager. We are seeking a dynamic Fulfillment Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team and optimise our order fulfillment processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment leading a team of 20+ and with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, we want to hear from you!

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The Start Date of employment will be discussed at interview.
  • Starting salary of £37,000 per annum, based on competence and experience.
  • 39 Hours working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month. Hours of work will be overnight, between 10pm - 10am.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Strong leadership experience and managing preferably in distribution, logistics or similar with a proven record of successful strategic leadership delivering both business result and people development.
  • Proven analytical skills understanding budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business and work on plans over several years.
  • You are influential and have the ability to apply tactical and operational thinking when implementing action plans, providing clear direction, establishing structures and routines for large teams.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment working through your team to promote flexibility, adaptability and simplicity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

  • Secure efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) in order to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience.
  • Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, unit management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, in order to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost.
  • Accountable to ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
