GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for an Integrity Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
As the Integrity Engineer your key responsibilities are:
- Assisting in monitoring asset engineering performance, e.g. PRI condition & performance assessment RCM, corrosion, and condition assessment.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of frameworks to measure the performance and condition of assets and act on the results to maintain asset lives.
- Supporting the management of the Safe Control of Operations on GTC networks.
- Assisting in triaging of plant protection enquiries to ensure security of supply is maintained and the health and safety of all stakeholders is protected.
- Ensuring all gas assets remain fit for purpose.
- Providing assistance in relation to land rights and consents.
- Providing technical advice to others (completion files, mains in private, built over assets).
- Participation in out-of-hours standby rota.
About you:
- EngTech with a recognised Engineering Institution (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of appointment).
- Extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of Pressure Reduction Stations and above 2 bar assets.
- Good knowledge & implementation of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to Gas systems and operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of risk management techniques that are applicable to the UK Gas Industry.
- Recent experience in managing high value contracts.
- Full UK driving licence.
