This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like social, influencer, TTL ad campaigns, augmented reality, AI and innovation. Our clients include eBay, easyJet, Just Eat Takeaway and Pepsico.

JOB PURPOSE

We’re on the hunt for a brilliant Lead Creative to join our team – someone filled with strong social creative ideas that grab attention, a conceptual eye to social-first campaigns, first class cultural insights and brilliant social trends knowledge. The ideal candidate will be a social-obsessed creative, ready to join our team to work on an exciting roster of consumer brands at DEPT to come up with exciting organic social, digital and tech ideas. In this role you’ll lead creative projects end to end and also could lead the creative for a retained account. Your ideas will connect brands with communities and culture - not just adding to the noise, but building and creating real connections and driving engagement. You’ll be required to have strong attention to detail and always be pushing for the best creative ideas possible while collaborating with the wider team. You’ll bring experience from a social role – this could be in-house or agency - and you’ll be able to sell your ideas with flair and demonstrate this through an exciting portfolio. You’ll have experience concepting, presenting with confidence and backing up your ideas with strategic insights, trends and data. This role requires a range of skills across concepting, social shoots, storyboarding, reactive cultural content and copywriting, so it goes without saying that you’ll know the latest cultural niche coded’ social trends before anyone else does – and understand how to spin those insights into compelling social-first content for brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver stand out creative ideas across organic social, digital and tech.
  • Present work to clients with confidence.
  • Sell ideas succinctly and confidently using data, trends and insights.
  • Juggle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Use data to continuously improve ‘always on’ content and bigger ideas.
  • Create content calendars, laydowns and roll out plans.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Help to grow our creative offering, making sure we’re taking advantage of the latest tech.
  • Participate in new business pitches.
