Foster + Partners is a global studio for architecture, engineering, and design, renowned for creating sustainable, innovative, and visually impactful buildings. We are seeking a talented Structural BIM Technician to join our Battersea office.
Responsibilities
- Carry out structural information modelling and drawing production on projects from Concept to Construction within the Structural Group.
- Prepare and develop images and documents related to the design.
- Contribute to delivering first-class architecture and engineering on time and within budget.
- Liaise with external project teams and associated organizations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a structural engineering practice, including design and delivery of structural information on complex projects.
- Knowledge of BIM, especially Revit.
- Proven ability to produce 2D structural drawings from 3D BIM models across all design stages.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and graphical.
- Experience with large-scale, complex architectural or engineering projects.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and collaboration techniques.
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and standards.
