Hours: Monday - Friday with hybrid working. Onsite working 2 days a week in Bracknell, with a mix of studio and home working the rest of the time. Travel to Berkhamsted twice a month.
Our client is a well-known global and forward-thinking marketing business, who are recruiting an experienced Account Manager to join their team. The focus of this role is to project and account manage a key retail client within the Packaging Design Team.
Duties and Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
- This is a pivotal client-facing role responsible for managing the successful delivery of packaging design projects.
- Lead a team of two account managers.
- Maintain strong and productive relationships.
- Serve as the main point of contact between creative teams and senior stakeholders.
- Work together with clients and internal stakeholders to establish project goals, deliverables, scope, and timelines.
- Convert client briefs into actionable project plans, making sure objectives and expectations are clear.
- Attend and lead weekly meetings with the Design Team.
- Provide regular updates on projects and escalate any risks to the launch.
- Keep clients and account teams updated regularly, managing their expectations and approvals.
- Monitor project progress on a daily or weekly basis and proactively adjust plans to meet deadlines.
About You: / Experience required:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of previous proven experience in creative project/account management.
- Previous experience with packaging and an understanding of creative briefs and guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Great organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Use of own initiative.
