A leading provider of education services across the UK, working with over 40,000 students is looking to hire a new Data Protection Compliance Manager to support their Head of Compliance with monitoring and developing data protection internally across the company and its subsidiaries.
Role:
- Managing the data protection champion network across all functions.
- Providing training and general advice.
- Designing and delivering training for staff internally and externally.
- Maintaining the RoPA.
- Working on ISO27001, DSARs, third party vendor agreements, and data protection policies.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, you will be working with a variety of different people from board level to educators.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
- Passion for the education sector and the management of non-teaching functions.
- Dynamism, ambition, and passion.
- Experience in the education sector is desirable, but not a requirement.
