Are you an experienced and compassionate Support Worker looking for flexible agency contracts? ASA Recruitment is growing our exceptional team of Support Workers, offering 36-hour contracts and the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. As a valued part of our care team, you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and general safety.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organising to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
- Foster supportive, meaningful relationships with clients through empathetic listening and social engagement.
- Provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Accurately maintain client records, care logs, and incident reports.
- Collaborate effectively with the care team, providing regular updates on clients' health and well-being.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 6 months UK-based Support/Care experience.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- CV covering the last 10 years of work history.
- Willingness to complete a PVG Update through ASA.
- Registered with the SSSC.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing the highest standard of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to assist with lifting and mobility support.
- Flexibility to work across days, nights, and weekends.
