The Sr Government Solutions Specialist, Higher Education ANS Connectivity Sales role is responsible for selling the T-Mobile 5G Advanced Network Solutions portfolio, including Hybrid and Private Networks, MEC, Fixed Wireless Solutions, and SD Edge capabilities. This includes supporting existing accounts and prospecting new business relationships to drive connectivity product revenue for T-Mobile. The role requires an extensive understanding of the marketplace, competitive landscape, and customer requirements for connectivity products. The Sr Account Executive works with companies to implement new business initiatives, leveraging identified products to drive strategic revenue and cost savings.
Responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with customer executives, strategic partners, and internal teams to expand product share
Position solutions with hyperscaler companies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google GCP for Edge compute solutions. Balance technical infrastructure knowledge with a consultative client engagement approach. Conduct executive briefings with sales teams and client leaders. Articulate business transformation messages leveraging 5G Private Networks. Explain how T-Mobile can enable Industry 4.0 capabilities through robotics, IoT, big data, and AR. Develop vertical-specific use cases for 5G ANS adoption. Attend trade shows and interact with clients and industry consultants. Develop and manage a healthy sales funnel using MEDDPICC methodology. Identify customer needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products through solution-based selling. Utilize sales automation and prospecting tools effectively. Negotiate contracts and sales terms. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's in Business or Technology preferred.
- Work Experience: 4-7 years in B2B high-tech sales, with experience in complex solutions and customer-facing technical roles.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in technical sales, successful track record in meeting sales targets, experience selling into Fortune 500/1000, strong presentation, business acumen, and negotiation skills.
