The Business Intelligence Analyst II is a key contributor and subject matter expert on the Business Intelligence team, driving a culture of data-driven decision making within our Client Services, Operations and Finance teams. This role requires working cross-functionally to understand evolving business needs and requirements. You will be responsible for designing and developing self-serve reporting and insight capabilities using advanced analytics techniques to guide the strategic decision making of stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver meaningful technical hands-on contribution to support company objectives.
  • Surface insights from multiple data sources to support complex operational analysis.
  • Develop solutions that proactively improve operational efficiency for stakeholders and efficiency internally within the BI team.
  • Develop roadmaps and execution plans (resources, milestones, and timelines) fostering relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams whose members include BI and other teams such as Technology, Revenue, Product, and/or Finance.
  • Develop strong and collaborative working relationships among BI team leadership and with key stakeholders.
  • Actively review code and dashboard builds to maintain quality and optimisation standards.
  • Continuously analyse and optimise team efficiency.
  • Establish and deliver on team commitments.
  • Measure and maintain/improve the quality of the team's contributions.
  • Communicate important developments and changes to area leadership and other stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive analytical experience in Revenue, Sales, Operations, or Business Analytics.
  • Fluency in one or more programming languages, SQL preferred, R/Python a plus.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools: significant experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Experience of leading technical analysts to successfully deliver multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert level experience in Microsoft Excel and ability to create PPT presentations conveying compelling data-driven stories.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Experience analysing data across disparate sources and platforms.
  • Ability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to understand complicated problems and supply concise and relevant answers.
