A prestigious international school in the Surrey area is seeking a Support Teacher to join its inclusive and forward-thinking learning community from August 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic educator to work across Year 7 - 13, supporting students with SEND and EAL needs, while contributing to a school that champions personalised, inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups, both within and outside the classroom
- Adapt lessons and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners, particularly those with mild to moderate learning difficulties or language acquisition needs
- Integrate digital tools and educational technologies to enhance student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider academic and pastoral development of each student
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent, with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification teaching experience
- Experience working with SEND and/or EAL learners
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for the IB curriculum or willingness to undertake training
