Due to continued growth and development my client now requires a senior design engineer to work on full product cycle designs, from concept to manufactured product. The role will include projects related to existing product improvement and NPD. They will also assist with maintaining the Technical File and ensure regulatory and statutory compliance included CE.
- Sheet Steel Product Design
- Design for manufacture with keen eye for cost savings.
- Design of non-standard products for specific projects.
- 4 years experience using 3D CAD. Solidworks experience acceptable.
- Product life cycle testing.
- Project management tools.
- Ideally the perfect candidate will be a CREO 3D CAD user (or Solidworks) with previous experience in sheet/tubular steel products and 'whole design' experience.
- They will be used to working with production engineering to get designs prototyped and scoped ready for production including technical files, testing, BOMs, change documentation.
