Electrician's Mate (EV Installation) - UK-Wide Opportunities
Join one of the leading providers of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across Europe. We specialise in installing residential and workplace charging infrastructure throughout the UK, partnering with a wide range of businesses to deliver tailored EV solutions.
With the UK Government mandating that no new petrol or diesel cars will be sold from 2030, the EV market is expanding rapidly. However, the growth in EV adoption is outpacing the development of the charging infrastructure needed to support it. To meet this demand, we’re expanding our team and looking for motivated individuals to help shape the future of sustainable transport.
We’re currently recruiting for an Electrician's Mate (EV Installation) to support our operations across the UK. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial electrical installations, including trunking, tray work, and distribution board installation. With the right training and authorisation, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in EV charger installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of EV charging equipment.
- Support EV Installers with connections to switch panels and distribution boards.
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles associated with the role.
- Take ownership of personal and team health and safety in line with company policies.
- Prepare and complete pre-installation tasks using your own initiative.
- Follow operational procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Ensure correct use of PPE and equipment as required for each task.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship or training programme (part-qualified electrician).
- Relevant City & Guilds qualifications and current 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certificate.
- Experience in electrical installation, testing, and inspection in industrial/commercial environments.
- Valid First Aid and Manual Handling certificates.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A full UK driving licence (a company vehicle will be provided).
Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.
