Senior CAD Technician \\n – Hybrid (3-4 days in office – City of London)\\n- Up to £55,000\\n – Commercial/Retail Projects\\n\\nWe're looking for a Senior CAD Technician with management experience to join a team delivering a national rollout of EV infrastructure and commercial/ retail upgrades.\\n\\nThis is not just a hands-on design role – we're after someone who can lead from the front. You'll be managing drawing deliverables, coordinating junior technicians, and taking ownership of CAD quality across multiple live projects. \\nThe team are currently working on retail merchandising plans and elevations, with upcoming packages including full forecourt works and pump layouts.

You will have experience working on an all rounded role as a Senior CAD Technician as well as managing or mentoring a team (We are open to seeing candidate who are keen to make the move into a managerial role in the near future)\\n\\nWhat you'll be doing:\\n\\nLeading the CAD output across retail, commercial, refurbishment and energy projects\\nProducing and reviewing CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency\\nMentoring and supporting junior technicians within the team\\nWorking closely with project leads and design managers\\nManaging deadlines across multiple project stages\\nEnsuring all work is compliant with industry and safety standards\\nWhat we're looking for:\\n\\nStrong commercial or retail construction experience\\nProficient in AutoCAD and Revit (Most of the projects are being done in AutoCAD currently)\\nPrior experience leading or managing CAD resources\\nConfident communicator with excellent attention to detail\\nAble to work independently and in a collaborative team\\nUK project experience essential\\nMust be happy working hybrid – 3-4 days in the office (Holborn, London) – Remote workers will not be considered\\nEligible to work in the UK – We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position\\nWhat you'll get:\\n\\nSalary up to £55,000\\nHybrid working – office, home and occasional site visits\\nPrivate medical insurance\\n25 days holiday + benefits (Medicash, wellbeing support and more)\\nIf you're ready to step into a leadership role while still staying close to the technical detail – this is a great opportunity to work with a forward thinking company working with a long-standing, reputable client.\\n\\nAldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
