Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (HVAC or Plumbing & Heating) Location Salford, Manchester Working Hours 08:00 – 17:00 (initially, then shift pattern as follows; Day 1, 7am – 7pm; Day 2, 7am – 7pm; Day 3, 7pm – 7am; Day 4, 7pm – 7am; Days off as scheduled) Pay Rate Up to GBP 21.22 per hour General Overview We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a site in Salford, Manchester. A sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential. Key Requirements Experience working on commercial hot and cold-water systems. Approved and formal apprenticeship in Plumbing/Mechanical skills or relevant practical experience in a similar industry. Awareness of risk assessment and safe working practices with equipment. Ability to complete all statutory and non-statutory maintenance as per schedules and SLA\’s. Capability to complete reactive works in line with SLA\’s. Knowledge of Health & Safety standards, including ISO 9001 & 14001. Ability to interpret plans, method statements, technical diagrams, and communicate technical information effectively.
