The Role
- Lead the development and implementation of outstanding care and support practice
- Equip staff with the skills and confidence to deliver trauma-informed, relational, and child-centered care
- Work closely with managers and frontline teams to meet the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children in our homes
- Coach and mentor staff, lead training workshops, and embed a learning culture aligned with our restorative and child-rights-based practice model
- Drive quality assurance and improvement work, closing the loop on feedback and audits
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with at least 5 years' experience in statutory social work
- Significant experience working with:
- Children and families in need and child protection
- Looked after children and care proceedings
- Residential settings and/or children's homes
- Deliver workshops, coaching and mentoring
- Lead or support service improvement and practice development
- Quickly build strong working relationships with staff and young people
