We are looking for an outstanding Head of Credit and Collections – EMEA & APAC to lead our global Accounts Receivable (AR) Hub, overseeing an annual live ledger of over €250 million per month and driving a targeted plan to reduce bad debt across global operations. Based within the Area Support Office within Radisson Blu Manchester Airport, a core priority for this role is to lead and execute a comprehensive bad debt reduction strategy across all regions. This includes identifying root causes, optimizing risk controls and working cross-functionally with Operations, Business Development, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and General Managers to remediate critical situations, improve credit practices and reduce exposure.
The successful candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate insights into proactive, scalable solutions that protect cash flow and enhance financial performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Lead and inspire a high-performing international team of 14 FTEs across multiple regions. Collaborate across all regions including NOWE, CESEE, MEA, SEAP, CN, and SAS. Set and deliver KPIs aligned with RHG’s commercial and financial goals. Ensure consistent application of credit control policies across all hotels and partners.
- Credit & Collections Operations: Oversee AR functions for leased, managed, and franchised hotels as well as key third-party partnerships. Manage global collection strategies, including e-commerce fees and agency commissions. Own and drive the global credit policy, enforce credit limits, and ensure effective cash application.
- Process Innovation & Risk Management: Design and lead scalable, automated AR processes with a continuous improvement mindset. Serve as a core member of the Global Risk Management Committee. Implement internal audit actions and align with compliance, governance, and finance excellence standards.
- Business Partnering & Financial Reporting: Provide expert guidance to stakeholders including Sales, Area Finance, and Business Development. Deliver key insights to CFOs, COOs, and senior leadership through robust monthly reporting. Prepare credit waivers, payment plans, and ensure financial accuracy in line with Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Tools & Technology: Enhance BI dashboards and reporting tools to support data-led decision-making. Identify automation opportunities to improve team efficiency and AR accuracy. Collaborate with BPO and internal tech teams on Order-to-Cash (OTC) process improvements.
