Where will you be working? Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

What will you be doing? Are you skilled at assisting with project delivery to meet goals on time and within budget? Do you excel at supporting teams and ensuring compliance with standards? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! You will assist with project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Support the team by providing resources and guidance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Record material deliveries and reconciliations. Track changes on site and work with the project team to capture and record them. Collaborate with engineers, operatives, and other team members to deliver the project, track progress, and manage materials. Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and up to date. Step in to manage site operations when needed, acting as Site Agent.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects, preferably rail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, contracts (NEC, ICE, JCT), and project management software (MSP or P6).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection.
  • The ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • A desire for continuous improvement.
  • Good time keeping and recording keeping.
  • Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
