We are looking for a Plant hire coordinator on an ongoing temp or perm position in Cambridge area.
Job description:
- Support procurement of materials and hired-in plant equipment for construction projects.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers - negotiating prices, tracking deliveries, and resolving invoicing issues.
- Work closely with our Senior Buyer and project teams to ensure timely delivery to sites.
- Manage inventory and ensure prompt return of hired-in equipment to avoid extra charges.
- Track and report on activities and help identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and procurement software.
