Approach Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with an Industry-leading Social Housing developer who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee structural works within social housing projects in Nottingham. The successful candidate will manage on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a strong focus on structural works within social housing or similar sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of structural construction methods and materials.
- Solid understanding of health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and environmental standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, structural designs, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications such as CSCS card, SMSTS, and/or NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of site activities related to structural works, including structural works, brickwork, retaining walls and groundworks.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies on-site at all times.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication.
- Monitor and report progress regularly, managing risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Oversee quality control and ensure all structural works meet relevant standards and building regulations.
- Manage site resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to value engineering proposals where appropriate.
