Job Summary: The Microsoft 365 Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, management, and support of the company’s Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other integrated applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation of the platform and assist in maximizing the value of Microsoft 365 for the organization and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and security configurations.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • User management: Handle account provisioning, permissions, and access control for all Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Security administration: Implement security best practices such as conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Implement and manage device policies using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for Windows and mobile devices.
  • Support Teams and SharePoint for collaboration, including setting up communication channels, file sharing permissions, and organization of SharePoint sites.
  • Backup and disaster recovery: Configure, monitor, and test backups and disaster recovery processes for Microsoft 365 data.
  • Deploy and support integrations with third-party applications that work with Microsoft 365.
  • Provide technical support for internal users and clients on Microsoft 365 issues and queries.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and user guides.
  • Stay up to date on Microsoft 365 product updates and new features to ensure the company leverages the latest technologies.
  • Assist with migrations and upgrades related to Microsoft 365 services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security features, compliance tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management.
  • Experience managing Azure Active Directory (AAD) for user and device management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
  • Experience with migrations to Microsoft 365 from on-premises systems or other platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
