A specialist contractor that provides power solutions to the Data Centre sector is looking for a Health & Safety professional with a high level of demonstrable expertise in writing and implementing Health & Safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
Reporting into the Health & Safety Director, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys systems and continuous improvement. You will be methodical with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key competencies for the role are:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of integrated management systems, writing and implementing policies and procedures
- CMIOSH or working towards
- Well organised, with the ability to assimilate information rapidly
- Critical, analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of accuracy and a drive for continuous improvement
- Internal or Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (Preferable)
- Experience of working in a construction environment (ESSENTIAL)
- Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across all departments
