A leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products is looking to bring on a Senior Conveyor Design Engineer to work on projects for clients across the UK. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer with experience in designing conveyor layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Creating detailed designs to meet customer specifications for conveyor layouts, ready for translation into engineering solutions using AutoCAD software.
  • Carrying out all related calculations and risk assessments to ensure that all designs align with technical and safety requirement standards.
  • Conducting thorough analysis in order to validate all designs.
  • Working closely with the sales, projects, and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required.
  • Attending sites nationally as and when required.

Requirements

  • A strong design background working within Conveyors.
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification is vital for the role.
  • Demonstrated previous success within a similar role while working remotely.
  • Location: can be based anywhere in the UK, but there will be occasional requirements to travel to the company’s office in the East Midlands.
  • Must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
