Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to work for a great business based in the Croydon area. This is an interim Group Financial Controller job opportunity to start ASAP and will be a 6 month fixed term contract. The Financial Controller will be working closely with the CFO and overseeing the financial operations.
Salary: £85K
Location: Office based - Croydon
Duration: 6 month FTC
Financial Controller duties:
- Manage the financial operations for the group and team - all purchase ledger and credit control functions
- Control month end process and production of monthly management accounts
- Production of the monthly and weekly financial reports and board reports
- Manage the debt factoring facility
- Review department and make recommendations to streamline and reduce cost
- Prepare the trading companies and support with audit - liaison with external auditors etc
Skills and experience:
- Be a qualified accountant, proven experience working in an FC role
- Experience of working for a group
- People management and project accounting e.g new system integration exp - ERP system
