LEGO Certified Stores (LCS) are fully branded LEGO Stores owned & operated by our global network of Partners and will number 1,000 stores by the end of 2026. Join our growing team as a Retail Analyst and help build critical retail capabilities, delivering on the ambition of making LEGO Branded Stores the pinnacle shopping and brand experience for our consumers.

Core Responsibilities

  • As a Retail Analyst within the Branded Channels Team, you will play an important role in ensuring that Analytics & Insight become the bedrock for decision making, using our data to drive faster and better decisions that will enable sustainable growth for Partner Channels.
  • You will collaborate with our Location Planning teams, global Analytics & Insights functions, and Channel Leads worldwide, delivering insights to support critical store network decisions.
  • In this commercial role, you will analyse various data points related to store performance and provide the right information to the right people, when needed.
  • This will empower them to focus on key performance levers that drive continuous improvements in our in-store commercial performance.
  • You will support the development, facilitation and successful implementation of the Store Location Planning Model, continuously improving our data integrity and solutions to ensure relevance and efficiency.
  • Working with Retail Development Teams to analyse and interpret store performance data; highlight key trends and understand commercial implications.
  • Provide insights that will inform store network decisions, e.g sales and profitability thresholds, identify key drivers of performance.
  • Support Branded Channel Teams globally to make better informed data led decisions, e.g. trend analysis, performance measurement, campaign tracking.
  • Manage defined set of performance dashboards, liaising with Analytics & Insight team to optimize relevant data sets.
  • Supporting key business priorities such as Store Portfolio Segmentation, Trade Investments, and Store Estate Optimisations to drive strategic decision making across all branded channels.
  • Developing reporting solutions and supporting the ingestion and sharing of key performance metrics to find opportunities and aid sales growth.
  • Support the commercial strategy process and global branded channel alignment.
  • Working independently and across all Regions and many internal functions, the successful candidate needs to possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • As Retail Analyst, you will play a key role in further strengthening the Value Proposition towards our Partners.
  • By building a strong understanding of our entire branded retail business, you will help drive critical improvement in close collaboration with key collaborators from right across our Commercial Organisation.

Do you have what it takes?

  • The successful candidate comes with experience in retail or franchise sales with proven understanding of merchandising, finance, logistics, and store operations.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret store performance data; highlight key trends and understand commercial implications.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a strong analytical capability and the ability to summarise complex data in a clear and concise way.
  • Experience using or familiarity with spatial and BI tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Proven experience in retail analytics dealing with store performance and manipulating data to develop compelling arguments.
  • Relevant retail industry sector knowledge or experience of working in a consultancy supporting retailers.
  • Understanding of retail location planning techniques and analysis; statistical models / spatial models / sales transfer (cannibalisation) modelling.
  • Strong collaborative & project management skills that enable you to support numerous tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A commercial approach with quantitative and analytical skills allowing you to extract insights and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems.
