Job Description

As the Director of Product, you will be at the center of our global growth journey. With a proven track record in the industry, a focus on understanding customers, solving their problems, and exceeding their expectations, your visionary approach will drive product success from start to finish.

Your primary mission is to turn our strategic goals into profitable products. You will design and execute a marketing strategy for global expansion, aiming to exceed customer needs. Your leadership will extend to building a strong Product Management and Marketing team, fostering curiosity, innovation, and efficiency.

Advocating for agile product delivery methods and driving company-wide improvements are key to success in this role. Effective communication, data-driven decision-making, and prioritizing impactful opportunities and outcomes will guide your actions. Leading cross-functional teams, motivating external partners, and championing customer-focused innovation, you will transform a trusted brand into a global industry leader.

The role

• Translate Arqiva\’s vision & sector strategies into a product portfolio strategy to drive growth and maximize capabilities.
• Optimize sector portfolios to deliver revenue, experience, and cost efficiencies.
• Establish a portfolio development framework ensuring a whole-life focus in product development.
• Manage capex allocation across sector portfolios.
• Manage strategic relationships with product suppliers.
• Recommend brand positioning, values, and identity, and implement brand frameworks.
• Design and implement a compelling marketing strategy for global growth, exceeding customer expectations.
• Lead and develop the product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Technical credibility & expertise

• Leverage your technical expertise and experience to generate value for Arqiva.
• Product management expertise in Media & Broadcast and/or Utilities industries.
• Stakeholder relationship management and trust-building skills.
• Ensure transparency around product progress, goals, and missions.
• Experience in developing future product leaders.
• Experience managing products involving multiple technologies and disciplines.
• Proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, and Agile practices.
• Experience with visualization and collaboration tools.
