Spanish Payroll Specialist\\nNorthampton\\nType: Full-Time, Permanent\\n£ DOE \\n\\nOur global, market leading client is looking for a payroll specialist to join them on a permanent basis, to manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple countries (Spain, Portugal), ensuring accurate, timely payments, compliance with local regulations, and seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nProcess payroll for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees.\\nEnsure accurate tax and statutory deductions; liaise with tax authorities.\\nMaintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll queries.\\nCollaborate with vendors to ensure accurate filings (e.g. HMRC returns).\\nSupport monthly closing with Finance and maintain payroll governance documentation.\\nDrive process improvements and support change initiatives.\\nEnsure compliance with legal and internal policies.\\nProvide guidance and operational oversight to team members. \\n\\n The Ideal Candidate:\\n\\nProven experience in payroll administration across multiple geographies.\\nStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, controls, and best practices.\\nAbility to influence, advise, and communicate with senior stakeholders.\\nExperience leading or guiding teams; change and process improvement focus.\\nSpanish fluency strongly preferred. \\n\\n Desirable Skills:\\n\\nExperience with payroll vendors.\\nStrong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.\\nUnderstanding of risk, compliance, and control frameworks.\\nYou thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.\\nYou bring a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
