Join our creative team at a high street fashion supplier. We are looking for a Fashion Design Assistant who is positive, enthusiastic, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will support our design team across all stages of the process, from trend research to sample development. Ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a love of fashion, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining design files, organizing the studio, and assisting with meetings and presentations.
  • Supporting the creation of samples, tracking progress, and liaising with suppliers and buyers.
  • Assisting in identifying seasonal trends, researching materials, and sourcing trims and fabrics.
  • Creating mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings to communicate design ideas.
  • Working with other teams, including production, sample techs, and sales, to ensure designs are executed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Min 1+ year experience in the fashion industry.
  • Strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, textiles and manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring that projects stay on track.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
