Your new company is a leading manufacturer of fibre-based packaging solutions seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate cost estimates for tenders, projects, and enquiries.

Your new role as an Estimator will involve:

  • Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates.
  • Analysing job specifications and recommending cost-effective production options.
  • Calculating material costs, labour, and time required for each project.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best pricing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of estimates and project details.
  • Collaborating closely with sales and production teams to align estimates with business needs.
  • Providing competitive pricing solutions that support business growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in estimating within the packaging industry (ideally cartons).
  • A strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and market dynamics.
  • To be self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
