A leading manufacturer of fibre-based packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate cost estimates for tenders, projects, and enquiries.

As an Estimator, you will:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
  • Analyse job specifications and recommend cost-effective production options.
  • Calculate material costs, labour, and time required for each project.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates and project details.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to align estimates with business needs.
  • Provide competitive pricing solutions that support business growth.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in estimating within the packaging industry (ideally cartons).
  • Possess a strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and market dynamics.
  • Be self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Have proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Be detail-oriented with high accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
