A leading manufacturer of fibre-based packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate cost estimates for tenders, projects, and enquiries.
As an Estimator, you will:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Analyse job specifications and recommend cost-effective production options.
- Calculate material costs, labour, and time required for each project.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project details.
- Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to align estimates with business needs.
- Provide competitive pricing solutions that support business growth.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in estimating within the packaging industry (ideally cartons).
- Possess a strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and market dynamics.
- Be self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Have proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
