Business Development Manager – Wholesale Join to apply for the Business Development Manager – Wholesale role at ADM Business Development Manager – Wholesale Join to apply for the Business Development Manager – Wholesale role at ADM We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team to take charge of strategic growth accounts in the UK & Ireland, and play a key role in acquiring new customers within the Foodservice Wholesale Channel. Your expertise will help shape and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies that will drive our success. Main Responsibilities: Strategic Account Management: Take responsibility for identified strategic growth accounts in the UK & Ireland, supporting new customer acquisition in the Foodservice Wholesale Channel. Sales & Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies within the foodservice wholesale markets. Negotiation & Management: Negotiate with central consortia offices and regional members on pricing and marketing activities, and manage day-to-day operations within the central framework. Product Development Support: Collaborate with product management, application, and product development teams to enhance the supplier\’s branded range. Project Leadership: Lead projects from customer briefing to implementation, ensuring full responsibility and accountability. Portfolio Leadership: Manage a diverse foodservice and ingredients portfolio. Pricing & Rebates: Negotiate pricing with customers and manage customer rebate programs. Sales Planning: Create and fulfill sales plans and budgets based on market insights. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and develop long-term customer relationships. Market Monitoring: Monitor the market to identify potential opportunities. Skills & Abilities and Desired Qualifications: Extensive experience in the UK Foodservice Wholesale Channel (B2B). A strong network and experience with major Foodservice wholesalers, both nationally and regionally. Proven success in launching new products under supplier or customer brands. Experience in securing new branded product listings and managing sales performance and rebate schemes. Ability to work effectively within teams in a matrix organization and strong communication skills. Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within the region. Ability to work independently and in a structured manner. Enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong customer service orientation and technology skills.
