About the Role
We’re looking for a Personal Finance Copywriter to join the Content team at The Yardstick Agency, a sector‑leading agency in Nottingham that works with financial advisers and planners.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging blog posts and other content (around 25–30 blogs a month, ~1,000 words each) on personal finance topics such as tax, pensions, lifestyle pieces, team updates and ad‑hoc content.
- Research and generate topical, engaging financial services titles.
- Manage newsletter schedules to meet defined deadlines.
- Proof and edit content to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Collaborate with a small, close‑knit team and share constructive feedback to improve quality.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial copywriting experience, with evidence of engaging content for clients.
- Ability to write informative and interesting copy on a wide range of subjects.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to produce timely, compelling titles.
- Organised with proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional eye for detail with thorough editing and proofreading skills.
- Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
