Every Child Online is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing underprivileged children with access to computer equipment and online resources. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Driver to collect donated computer equipment from various locations in Essex, London, and possibly further afield. The Volunteer Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth collection and transportation of these donations, enabling us to bridge the digital divide and empower disadvantaged children with essential technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collect donated computer equipment from designated locations in Essex, London, and nearby areas.
- Safely load and transport the collected items to Every Child Online’s storage facility or designated drop-off points.
- Maintain accurate records of collected items, including donor information and equipment details.
- Co-ordinate collection schedules with the organisation’s team and communicate any changes or delays promptly.
- Ensure that all collected equipment is handled and transported with care to prevent any damage or loss.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and drive responsibly at all times.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to donors, fostering positive relationships and representing the charity professionally.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding the collected items or the collection process to the designated supervisor.
