XPS Group is a leading UK consulting and administration business specialising in the pensions and insurance sectors. Our Pensions Administration Projects Team continues to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Consultant to join our vibrant Middlesbrough office with hybrid working.
The Role: As a Senior Project Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects end to end, in line with budgets, deadlines, and objectives. Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the production of process documents
- Communicating and training on processes or workstreams
- Assisting teams on complex projects and technical questions
- Managing and allocating work of team members for processes or workstreams
- Management reporting
- Overseeing budgets for workstreams
- Developing marketing materials, internal updates, and newsletters
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve project delivery deadlines within scope and budget.
- Delivery of projects within agreed budgets, identification of out-of-scope work, and proactive management with clients.
- Create and maintain centralised data management plan processes.
- Completion and review of calculations for pension benefit data.
- Partner with Client and Administration Managers on project delivery requirements.
- Checking and authorising other team members’ work.
- Compliance with ISO and AAF accreditations.
Your Profile
Essential Criteria:
- Significant and demonstrable DB pensions administration experience.
- Technical pensions and data projects knowledge.
- Ability to manipulate spreadsheet data using formulas.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Proven ability to lead a project.
- Concise and confident communicator.
Desirable Criteria:
- Professional qualifications such as PMI / QPA / RPC / DPC / DPA.
