The Role: We are seeking a Timesheet & Pay Analyst for a 12-month maternity cover to support our Time & Attendance compliance processes across the UK. This role is critical in ensuring accurate time tracking, project code allocations, and compliance with UK and global employment regulations regarding working time, leave entitlements, and legal best practices. We are looking for someone who is “solution-focused” and experienced in working under pressure to meet strict deadlines and business requirements. The successful candidate must be a quick learner, flexible, and be able to adapt quickly to the Company culture and environment.
What will I be doing?
- Majority of this role will be responsible for Time & Attendance Management:
- Monitor and maintain time-tracking systems (Deltek, Costpoint, T-Time) to ensure accurate employee time entry and approval across UK and other global entities.
- Verify project code allocations, ensuring time is recorded against the correct cost centres and financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UK Working Time Regulations and internal policies by auditing employee timecards and leave records.
- Process timesheet corrections and amendments as required to maintain data integrity.
- Manage the calculation and tracking of annual leave balances, Dynamic Working and statutory leave entitlements (maternity, paternity, unpaid leave, etc.).
- Liaise with HR and employees to resolve queries related to time tracking, absences, and leave management.
- Generate and analyse weekly and monthly reports on timesheet compliance and attendance trends for internal stakeholders.
- International Mobility Administration - Maintaining expatriate, business visitor, and international assignee records in Workday. Data cleanups, ensuring compliance for business travellers and provide administrative support to the International Mobility team, including documentation management and reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices - Monitor & maintain changes in local labour laws and working hour regulations, collaborate with HR, legal, and compliance teams to update internal policies and ensure payroll and timekeeping practices align with regulatory requirements. Support internal audits & compliance reviews and always seek to improve efficiency and compliance.
What does Leidos need from me?
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with experience in time & attendance management, workforce compliance, or payroll-related functions. You will have knowledge and understanding of UK and International employment regulation, particularly:
- Working Time Regulations: Leave entitlements (statutory, TOIL, flexible working, maternity/paternity, unpaid leave, etc.)
- Recent labour law updates impacting holiday accrual and neonatal leave
- Ability to learn and apply labour regulations in other jurisdictions, particularly India and Mexico.
Skills required:
- Experience with Deltek T&E, Costpoint, or similar time-tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, Macros, and reconciliation tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—you will collaborate with HR, finance, and compliance teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with HR, payroll, finance, and mobility teams across EMEA.
