Head over to Queenstown on your days off but live in the serenity of the Cardrona Valley. We are between Queenstown and Wanaka – the perfect location to explore the area.
The Cardrona Hotel is looking for a Duty Manager to work at our busy bar. This position is rostered full time and mainly consists of evening shifts, including weekends. We require a minimum availability until after the busy Easter weekend, and even beyond if suitable to all parties.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Current LCQ/Duty Manager’s certificate
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is a must
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in the job
This position suits someone who would thrive in a more varied environment compared to a traditional Duty Manager role. You will be hands-on involved in customer service, run the bar, deal with houseguests and other customers, answer the phone… there’s lots of variety to keep you on your toes!
