Are you an experienced strategic leader looking for an exciting new challenge within local government? We are seeking an Executive Director (Resources) to join our senior leadership team overseeing all corporate service functions, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. This is a key role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of services and the overall success of the organisation.
The Executive Director (Resources) is instrumental in leading the Council’s operational, financial and advisory services. The Executive Director (Resources) will be responsible for leading and managing the Resources Directorate, ensuring the effective delivery of services within the areas of:
- Finance, Property & Procurement
- Strategy & Governance (HR, Legal & Democratic Services and Audit)
- Transformation, Customer & ICT
