Role: Senior Civil Engineer - Hinkley 'C' Nuclear Power Station project
Location: North-West Bristol, close to M4/M5 junction (3 days/week in the office, with the rest worked from home)
Salary: £ + excellent benefits
Start: June 2025 onwards
An exciting opportunity exists for Civil Engineers specialising in the design and analysis of large concrete structures (and ideally some steel structures experience) as well as knowledge of relevant Eurocodes, to work in support of EDF's Hinkley 'C' nuclear power station construction project. This is a hybrid role requiring someone to work 3 days/week in the office, with the rest worked from home.
Whilst previous nuclear industry experience would be useful, this is not essential - prior experience in the design and analysis of other large structures (in particular regulated industry such as oil and gas, power stations, petrochemical, chemical) would be acceptable.
Main Activities:
- Producing technical specific documents such as handover reports or hypothesis notes
- Responsibility of raising and following up on technical open points
- Supporting the civil building lead for the resolution of transverse/complex technical open points and contract engineering lead in coordination with L3 civil designer and other stakeholders
