We have an immediate need for a Programme Operations Associate in the Energy Markets area to join our world-class client facing organisation. We are looking for a technical individual, who is committed to driving the energy transition through digitisation, decentralisation and decarbonisation, under the banner of a successful and well-respected international company.

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer Onboarding
  • Activation of customers in Enel X systems to assure smooth participation in contracted programmes
  • Managing customer information on ongoing basis
  • Creation of reports to monitor portfolios
  • Customer Enrolment
  • Understanding Grid rules for all flexibility programmes in the UK & Ireland
  • Managing internal stakeholders to align with Grid enrolment windows
  • Detailed knowledge and execution of grid enrolment processes for flexibility programmes
  • Analysis of customer data to determine accurate customer nominations and to support portfolio optimization.
  • Working closely with the TSO to schedule testing/audits/etc
  • Manage end-to-end testing process of customer sites, including submitting the relevant applications and documentation to the Grid Operator, analyse test results, and submit test reports to the Grid Operator, all in a timely manner
  • Portfolio Management & optimisation
  • Assist in ex post data settlement processes to ensure we are paid correctly by TSOs/market operators and in turn paying customers correctly
  • Ad hoc analysis to support decision-making of programme managers
  • Completion of event reports for the TSO
  • Portfolio and process optimization and improvement
  • Management of trading partners
  • Support the development of and launch of new flexibility products and programmes
  • Manage auction/tender processes including conducting detailed market analysis
  • Contribute to and championing the continuous improvement of scalable processes to increase efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Driving collaboration efforts across teams to achieve successful implementation
  • Continuously monitor flexibility markets to forecast possible events
  • Identify and drive initiatives that improve operations, mitigate risks, and take advantage of emerging market opportunities

Who you are:

  • Understanding and interest in energy and flexibility markets
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Basic coding skills preferred
  • Technical qualification in Engineering, Science or Maths preferred
  • A recent graduate or early career candidate wanting to move into the energy industry.
