Salary: up to £55,000Reporting to: Technical LeadKey stakeholders: Support Team, Product, Customer Success, Professional Services TeamsOrganisational Framework Level: 2 – Technical ContributorAbout youAs a Software Developer at Clue, you will become a contributing member of an agile development team. You will assist with delivering software solutions efficiently, as well as helping identify and implement improvement areas in the software delivery process.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop secure, structured, clean, and re-usable code that follows the pre-defined development standards and meets the documented requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure all code is well-tested and consistently error-free. Consider Non-Functional Requirements (i.e. performance).Be an active member of a Clue agile team, attending and contributing to all agile ceremonies. Regularly review progress and feedback on your status.Work with other development and QA team members.Provide accurate effort estimations for work based on the requirements provided.Key role measuresBecome an active member of the scrum team, and contribute to the successful delivery of the sprint goalWork in an open, collaborative way with all other team membersWrite code that is maintainable, testable, and secureAssist the Support Team with queries or investigations as required.Experience and skillsOur ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:Knowledge of web client-side frontend frameworks and technologies, including HTML, CSS, jQuery and Knockout, and modern SPA frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.Experience with using Microsoft Visual Studio for development using the Microsoft development stack, including C#, .NET, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and SQL Server.An understanding and proficiency in working as an active member of an Azure development team, and the ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of Scrum.Proactive attitude with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
