An established international architecture and design studio is seeking an experienced Master Planner & Urban Designer for its London-based team. This position offers the chance to shape innovative, sustainable urban environments across a global portfolio, contributing strategic design thinking and delivering masterplans that have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex masterplans, neighbourhood frameworks, and public realm strategies
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants through all project phases
  • Present design proposals and strategic thinking to clients and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior team members
  • Enhance the studio’s collaborative, design-led culture focused on sustainable urbanism

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years’ post-graduate experience in urban design or masterplanning with a robust portfolio of large-scale projects
  • International experience, ideally including Middle East projects
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to develop compelling design narratives
  • Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with GIS, Revit, and Grasshopper is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
