We’re hiring experienced Network Engineers (SMEs) to join a leading financial services organisation, supporting major transformation programmes and network-led initiatives. This is a permanent role with hybrid working from their Cheshire-based office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level network solutions in line with architectural standards.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with network governance, change management, and audit/risk processes.
- Engage with stakeholders, providing clear delivery updates and next steps.
Essential Experience:
- 5+ years in a Senior, Lead, or SME Network Engineer role.
- Proven project delivery experience in large-scale environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in at least one of the following is essential:
- Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper)
- Firewalls (Fortinet)
- Load Balancers (F5)
Desirable Experience (not mandatory):
- Technologies: Bluecoat, Symantec Proxy, zScaler, Infoblox, Forescout, NetScaler
- Certifications: CCNP Enterprise, Fortinet NSE (Associate or Professional), F5 LTM/GTM Certified Technical Specialist
