We’re hiring experienced Network Engineers (SMEs) to join a leading financial services organisation, supporting major transformation programmes and network-led initiatives. This is a permanent role with hybrid working from their Cheshire-based office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level network solutions in line with architectural standards.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with network governance, change management, and audit/risk processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders, providing clear delivery updates and next steps.

Essential Experience:

  • 5+ years in a Senior, Lead, or SME Network Engineer role.
  • Proven project delivery experience in large-scale environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in at least one of the following is essential:
  • Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper)
  • Firewalls (Fortinet)
  • Load Balancers (F5)

Desirable Experience (not mandatory):

  • Technologies: Bluecoat, Symantec Proxy, zScaler, Infoblox, Forescout, NetScaler
  • Certifications: CCNP Enterprise, Fortinet NSE (Associate or Professional), F5 LTM/GTM Certified Technical Specialist
